Training Services
Horses Trained Right.
We start colts, fix problems, and build cow horses the old-fashioned way — with patience, consistency, and a lot of wet saddle blankets.
Our Approach
No Shortcuts. No Gimmicks.
We've been starting and finishing horses for a long time. We have a system and a program. Every horse is different, and we treat them that way. Some need more time, some need more pressure, some just need someone to be consistent with them.
Our goal is always the same: send you home with a horse that's safe, honest, and useful. Whether that's a colt just getting started or a seasoned horse that's picked up a bad habit, we'll work with what you've got and give you a straight answer about what you have.
What We Offer
Training Programs
Colt Starting
We start colts on the ground and under saddle. By the time they leave they'll have a solid foundation.
- Ground work and desensitization
- Basic stops, turns, and backing
- Introduction to cattle
Tune-Up & Problem Solving
Got a horse that's gotten rusty, picked up a bad habit, or just needs a refresher? We'll figure out what's going on and fix it. We'll also tell you if the problem is the horse or the rider — honestly.
- Assessment and honest evaluation
- Targeted work on specific issues
- Rider coaching and feedback
- Progress updates throughout
Ranch Horse Development
We develop horses for ranch work and cattle handling. If your horse has the instinct, we'll bring it out. If you're not sure, we'll evaluate them and give you an honest read on their potential.
- Cattle exposure and sorting
- Tracking and working cattle
- Long working Days
How It Works
Simple and Straightforward
01
Call Us First
We talk before anything else. Tell us about your horse, what you're looking for, and what you've been dealing with. We'll ask questions and give you our honest read on whether we're the right fit.
02
Drop-Off & Assessment
When your horse arrives, we spend the first few days just watching and evaluating. We want to understand how they think before we start asking anything of them.
03
Consistent Daily Work
Your horse gets worked 6 days a week. We keep you updated on progress — the good and the bad. No surprises at pick-up.
04
Pick-Up & Handoff
When your horse is ready, we walk you through everything we did and show you how to keep the work going at home. You leave knowing what you've got.
Ready to Talk Training?
